9:1 Then he shouted in my ears, “Approach, ¹  you who are to visit destruction on the city, each with his destructive weapon in his hand!”

Yehezkiel 40:2

[40:2]  ² tn The expression introduces the three major visions of Ezekiel (1:1; 8:3; 40:2).

[40:2]  ³ tn The reference to a very high mountain is harmonious with Isa 2:2.

[40:47]  ⁴ tn Heb “one hundred cubits long and one hundred cubits wide, a square” (i.e., 52.5 meters by 52.5 meters).
